Facilities
The JCC of Bayonne is equipped with a full size gymnasium, indoor heated pool with locker rooms, auditorium, classrooms, preschool soft playroom, preschool outdoor playground, and various multi-use spaces.
We are happily situated across from Stephen R. Gregg Park (Hudson County Park) with easy access to it’s wide variety of sports facilities for children and adults including baseball/softball fields, soccer fields, tennis courts, basketball courts, running track and field, children’s playground and spray pool in the summertime.
Security
Our building security is paramount, ensuring the safety of all within our premises. Security measures at the JCC are regularly updated and overseen by GuardEX Security Services, INC.
Our main entrance (Kennedy Boulevard) is guarded, with trained personnel overseeing access to the facility. All individuals using the main entrance are required to present a valid JCC ID badge or photo ID and may be subject to bag and package searches. Additionally, for added security, parents accessing the the Toddler Town entrance on 44th Street are provided with a secure code unique to their family, discouraging unauthorized entry. We kindly request parents not to hold the door open for subsequent arrivals but to encourage them to use their own code for access. Our on-site security company ensures continuous monitoring and screening of all doors.
Alarms are installed on all doors, offering further protection, while upgraded surveillance cameras strategically placed throughout the building monitor activity both inside and out. These measures work in tandem to maintain a secure environment, providing peace of mind to all who enter.
We're enhancing our building security with the upcoming installation of new exterior security doors featuring advanced locks and keys and new reinforced interior classroom doors for added safety during lockdown procedures.
